I am currently on Holiday in London visiting family and I have taken the lovely opportunity to also visit Kensington Palace where the late Princess Diana resided! It’s an extraordinary place!
The states rooms are open to the public, while the remaining part of the Palace have apartments for the members of the Royal Family! Below is the picture of her in the Palace!
The caption underneath the picture which is so ironic for the beginning of Fashion Week, for she was definitely an icon and so beautiful!
See you when I get back!
You can tell me! First let me tell you mine! My AC went on the outs! Kaput! Done! Which left me to wait until a unit was available to schedule to install (replacing the cube condenser unit..like my lingo)!
So here I am reverting back to the old days and using a box fan in the window. During the day, it was very humid, in the 90’s and the evenings were not that bad… the air-cooled down a bit.
So I have experienced a lot of thunderstorms and the other evening, the lighting was really bad. However dosing in and out of my sleep, I heard a plane and was fearful that the plane would not land safely at the nearby airport. Jumped out of bed, closed all the windows, then I did not hear the plane anymore, so it must have landed safely!
So the HVAC installer was here today and I am telling him how happy I am about the AC unit is finally here and begin to telling him the story about the thunderstorms, humid nights and the plane. And as I am telling him the story, I realizing THERE WAS NO PLANE! There was NOOOOOO PLANE!
It was the freaking humming of the box fan in the window (it does sound like a propeller, it does!) I said OMG, I was really under heat and sleep deprivation, for I must have been in and out to think my box was a PLANE!
Embarrassing, the HVAC installer kept laughing <hysterically> and promised not to use my name when telling the story. So before it gets out, let me tell you first! EMBARRASSING! 10x 🙂
If you are a bride-to-be looking for a gown or a woman who is thinking about IT! Hmmm! If I was a bride – what would be the wedding gown that I would wear?
Why am I thinking about a gown? 😉
Maybe it’s the two weddings that I have attended in the last two weeks – which probably has me thinking about matrimony <violins are now playing in the background, while I’m typing this>!
However, like every woman who perhaps wants to be married or a mother who wants their daughter to be married …wonders! Yes, you do wonder about the gown, thee one you would wear!
So you know, I already have one picked out! I have fallen in love…LOVE, LOVE, LOVE with this Vera Wang GOWN! It was delicately tucked in my TO DO folder. I took it out tonight, to share!
Even if it was not a wedding gown, I would love it as an evening gown. However, I am going to stick with the wedding cloud! How about you, do you have a dream wedding gown?
The wedding gown is named, Holly. A mermaid gown with piked and pin tucked drop-waist corset, with volumes of layered organza petals with floating sprig embroidery! Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!
