What do you get when you put a famous set designer, a famous creative image maker, beautiful orchids and the NY Botanical Gardens? You get the Orchid Show on Broadway!
Let’s say I love orchids and on selected Saturday evenings, I will get the opportunity to see an exclusive late “performance” of The Orchid Show: On Broadway. There’s this great deal to see the show, where you can enjoy cocktails and merriment amid the thousands of spectacular orchids.
Then at the end of the evening have a wonderful dinner at one of the NY Botanical Garden’s partner restaurants featuring special offers exclusively for Orchid Evenings ticket holders (Non-Member $30, Members $10); which includes a cocktail. Go to their http://www.nybg.org to get all the details.
How nice is that!
Orchid lovers, there will be over 300 types of orchids will be displayed in dramatic scenes! I don’t want to give too much away….but it is quite extraordinary!
Tony Award winning*, set designer Scott Pask and image maker Drew Hodges, have collaborated with Botanical Gardens curators a wonderful adaptions of legendary Broadway venues!
Great idea for an evening! If not in NYC, check your city for events at your Botanical Garden.
