A Country Style Wedding Idea..Mr & Mrs!

14 Feb

I get so many design magazines; looking for fresh items!  This evening while flipping the pages of one of my favorites, Ballard Designs®; I saw these wonderful pillows!

They are kind of shabby chic, made of burlap.  In the bedroom picture, the pillows fit right into the country feel of the room!

This would be great for a wedding gift to a bride and groom.  Or! A great way for a married couple to appoint the correct side one should sleep when going to bed!

How about, using the pillows as a hint for announcing an engagement?  Better yet; “Listen…when are you going to propose?”.

I thought they were quite nice! Now, I do agree that the price is not for everyone’s pocket; but an idea…well it will be always an idea; that doesn’t change!

So, either you can make them yourself <don’t laugh>  Then get someone to make them for you;  pick a fabric you like and find some iron-on letter decals from the craft store <plus all the other items you may need>.  Or perhaps get a needlepoint canvas and cross-stitch the letters!

Now, I did go searching for lower prices and it looks like burlap is going to be the statement fabric this year! For I did my surfing around and found these pillow slips were pricey too! But it’s all about the idea <smiling>.   As always, if you are interested; the links will be below!
